Giorgos Stathopoulos is one of the most important greek artists in our time. Born in the village Kalithea near agrinio. He studied at the Superior School of fine arts in Athens ( 1966 - 1971 ). He lives and works in Athens and has exhibited in numerous one man and group shows in Greece and abroad. He has illustrated many record and book covers posters and stage sets.
